Today we had some very special virtual visitors to our classroom - children from Miss O'Neill's class in Clondrinagh National School in Lissycasey, County Clare. Over the last few weeks we have been posting letters and pictures to Clondrinagh, telling them about Scoil Chormaic CNS and Balbriggan.

You can see Clondrinagh National School here:

We called them on Skype and spoke for over an hour about the differences and similarities between our schools and where our schools are located. We'll post up more information about this  soon!

  1. Hello again Scoil Chormaic! We'd like to say a big THANK YOU for letting us virtually visit your classroom today. We learned a lot of new information about Balbriggan and Dublin and what life is like in a big school. We have been so impressed with all the letters, postcards, pictures, photographs and booklets you have sent us and we know a lot of hard work went into them. We must also compliment you on your beautiful classroom and all the fantastic work that is hanging on the walls. You are very lucky to have such fun and hard working teachers as Mr. Burke and Ms. Dowling who organise so many exciting things for you. Keep up the good work and we hope to Skype you again before the summer holidays.

  2. Thank you for all that you sent, and your classroom is very nice too. Kamile likes the things you had hanging up on your walls. Ben thought that you were really good at playing the recorder - well done! Christian thinks that Senior Infants, First Class and Second Class are very good. Craig likes the way you sung the song 'My Little Sunshine' - we really enjoyed it! Patrick really liked the nature walk video that you sent to us! Evelina likes your classroom a lot!

We cannot wait to talk to you on Skype again!
